Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University becomes associated member of EMLex
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University recently became an associated member of the EMLex. Contact person at Tbilisi is Prof. Dr. Tinatin Margalitadze, a renowned lexicographer and dictionary researcher. Being a professor at Tbilisi State University, Prof. Margalitadze is Research Director of the “Lexicographic Centre”, co-editor of several dictionaries (e.g. the English-Georgian Dictionary), has organized the EURALEX 2016 and is a member of the Scientific Committee for EURALEX 2018. Her research focuses on bilingual lexicography, the problem of equivalence, and the history of Georgia’s bilingual lexicography.
