EMLex ranks first among EU funding applications
First place for the European Master in Lexicography (EMLex), which was founded by Prof. Dr. Stefan Schierholz 10 years ago. The master programme ranks highest among EU funding applications for the current funding period and will remain an Erasmus Mundus elite degree programme for another six years. In addition, it will also be funded with more than three million euros. Winning against 112 applications, the EMLex has achieved first place in the EU ranking with 92.5 points out of 100, thus elevating FAU to the top of the winners’ podium. Besides having invented the EMLex programme, Prof. Dr. Stefan Schierholz (Department Germanistik und Komparatistik) is also the its coordinator.
