Following Prof. Dr. Anja Lobenstein-Reichmann’s teaching week in the EMLex summer semester in Rome, a colloquium on the lexicography of landscape words will be held at the Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities from 22-25 May 2019. DFG (German Research Foundation) sponsors the colloquium, which is hosted by the academy project Early New High German Dictionary (FWB) in cooperation with EMLex. The international research group LandLex („landscape and lexicography“), lexicographers, linguists and early-stage researchers from all over Europe will talk about lexicographic concepts of landscape words from a historical and present-day perspective. Another key issue will be to discuss future strategies of (historical) lexicography in the digital age.

The colloquium is organised by Wiebke Blanck (EMLex, FAU) and Stephanie Schott (FWB, Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities). DFG applicants and hosts are Prof. Dr. Stefan Schierholz (FAU) and Prof. Dr. Anja Lobenstein-Reichmann (head of FWB).
