On  October 26th, EMLex students accompanied Dr. Zita Hollós for an  afternoon of real-world lexicography at the Hungarian Research Center  for Linguistics. Under the guise of Dr. Veronika Lipp, Dr. Bence Pomázi and PhD student  Júlia Ballagó, they investigated the inner workings of a Hungarian  language dictionary in an interactive session. Students participated in a  Q&A and were even invited to try their hand at writing a dictionary entry—something which proved difficult without much  knowledge of Hungarian!  Afterwards, Dr. Hollós and the students met up  with EMLex alumni Andrea and Tith and EMLex professor Dr. Dora Pődör  for an evening of good company and delicious Hungarian food.
